She was the first born oldest child of Josephine G Swarthout and Nelson J Naylor.She had 4 siblings Nelson J Naylor jr (1941-1982),Nellie Joanne Leyrer, Pearl Woerner,and Paul Naylor. She was born and raised in Pensacola FL and passed away peacefully in Pensacola surrounded by two of her children and a special friend. She married young to Joseph W Ramey and to this union came 4 children. Lou Ellen Ramey Deveau( Michael)Joseph W Ramey jr( Libby)David Green Ramey (Nathalie)and James Allen Ramey( Lisa).
She had the following grandchildren…Jennifer Michelle Kelly, Julie Marie Kelly, Christina Marie Ramey, Jessica Marie Ramey,David Green Ramey jr, Catherine Marie Ramey.
Great grandchildren are as follows Jaycee Michelle Kelly Ward, Patrick Weldon Jeffrey,Darian Shaun Ward, Hannah Mae Jeffrey ,Kelley Ward(deceased) Baby Jeffrey(deceased), Rachael Marie Jeffrey, Danielle Marie Ward,She has 4 great grandchildren put up for for adoption no longer part of her familyThey belonged to Christina Jessica had 2 girls Nevaeh,Melanie and 1 boy Bubba born after Mom passed. Jennifer has 3 children and one miscarriage. Julie had 3 children and a still born Kelley. David Jr and Catherine have not had any children. Now I wait to some day be a great grandmother myself.
Mom had a hard life but witnessing all she went through lets me know she was one woman full of strength, love of her family and before she passed I told her I was sorry for all I ever done to her and she told me the same so I hurt still But am at peace knowing she is in heaven with her beloved brother Nelson jr. They were 15 months apart and she never called him Joe always “BROTHER”.
She is buried at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Pine Forest Rd Pensacola FL.next to her last husband and his 1st wife. Her married name was Lula A Trawick. You can find her remains there. She may be gone 12 years now but I still miss her like it was yesterday. Always and forever in our hearts ♥️
