Jasmine Ariela Patterson-Boyd, beloved sister, mother, and friend, passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born on March 7, 1956, in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Los Angeles, CA. In 1977. Jasmine will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and unwavering dedication to helping others.

Jasmine had a passion for various hobbies, including sewing, cooking, and fishing. She found joy in creating beautiful garments, preparing delicious meals, and spending peaceful hours by the water. Some of her favorite foods were Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken, and she loved listening to music from Lena Horne, Miles Davis, and Whitney Houston.

During her school days, Jasmine excelled both on the basketball court as captain of her team and as a cheerleader. She was an active and vibrant individual, always seeking new experiences and making lasting memories with her loved ones. London held a special place in her heart as her favorite destination, and she enjoyed immersing herself in the diverse culture of the city.

Jasmine's love for the TV show "The Young & the Restless" was well-known, and she followed it faithfully. She also had a passion for sports, particularly football, basketball, and track and field. She was known by the nickname "Jassy" to those close to her.

Professionally, Jasmine dedicated 40 years of her life working for the FDIC, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community. Her favorite quote, "I'll be seeing you," reflected her optimistic outlook on life and her belief in the eternal connection between loved ones.

One of Jasmine's proudest accomplishments was becoming an ordained minister, allowing her to spread love, hope, and faith to those around her. She was deeply spiritual and a devoted Christian, finding solace and strength in her faith.

Jasmine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbert Boyd, who passed away in February of the same year. She is survived by her children, Aaron Boyd of Stockton,CA, Sharon Simmons of Los Angeles,CA,John Lee Boyd of NY. Nyema Sanchez of Anaheim CA. And three grand Children Aubree, Nylan, and Jazmine.

Jasmine will also be remembered by her brothers, Henry Lee of Brooklyn, NY, Devin Lee of Las Vegas, NV, and her sister, Teresa Johnson of Buffalo, NY.

Jasmine's impact on the lives of others cannot be understated. She possessed a generous and compassionate nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her contributions to charity organizations and her leadership roles in the community showcased her commitment to making the world a better place.

In remembrance of Jasmine Ariela Boyd, a memorial service will be held to celebrate her life and the cherished memories she leaves behind. She will forever be remembered as one of the kindest souls to have graced this earth.
