Gwen Mary Perkins, lovingly known as Gwennie or Meme, passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born on June 27, 1962, in Memphis, TN, and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Gwen was married to Billy Perkins and together they shared a deep bond of love and companionship. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind her children Daniel Simmons, Crystal Simmons, Ashley Perkins and Grandchildren Natalie Perkins, Jose Perkins, Cory Goss, and Kenny Goss. Her family brought her immense joy and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Gwen was known for her infectious laughter and her goofiness. Her strong-willed nature served as an inspiration to those around her. She faced life's challenges with determination and always found a way to bring a smile to the faces of her loved ones.

Gwen is survived by her loving sister Lynn Bond and her brother-in-law Billie Bond. Their support and closeness brought comfort and strength to Gwen throughout her life.
