Genaro "Jerry" Carabay, Jr. passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 51. He was born on October 4, 1972, in Exeter, CA, and had been residing in Porterville, CA.
Jerry was a kind-hearted man who cherished spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for cars and trucks, owning a mini truck and frequently attending car and truck shows. Jerry loved participating in cruise nights and had a deep appreciation for barbecue. He was a big baseball fan, particularly supporting the Braves.
Jerry was known by several nicknames - SunShine, Big Daddy, and most commonly, Jerry. He worked as an inside sales representative for Glass Doctor. His proudest accomplishments were his children, Genaro III and Samantha.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lori. He will also be dearly missed by his mother, Manuela, and his sister, Monica. Jerry had a contagious smile that brightened the room and loved making others laugh as a clown.
Jerry believed strongly in forgiveness and was always willing to extend an olive branch. He was involved with the organization Dangerous Toys and was a faithful Catholic.
Genaro "Jerry" Carabay, Jr. will be remembered for his joyous spirit, his love for his family, and his dedication to forgiveness. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and kindness that will be cherished by all those who knew him.
