Edwinna Howard, affectionately known as Winnie, peacefully passed away on April 23, 2024 in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan at the age of 83. She was born on January 5, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan.

Edwinna will be fondly remembered for her love of church and spending quality time with her family. She graduated from Cass Tech High School and married her high school sweetheart, Kevin Howard. Together, they raised four children: Darnell, Ronald, Lamond, and Stephanie Howard.

In her daily routine, Edwinna found immense joy in waking up early, making breakfast while listening to gospel music, and indulging in her favorite pastime, bingo. She cherished her travels to visit friends and family, with Florida being a particularly special destination she frequented each year.

As a mother and wife, Edwinna dedicated herself to her family's happiness and well-being. Her kind and caring nature embodied her favorite motto, "The easiest way to find happiness is to give it."

Edwinna is survived by her spouse, Kevin Howard, and her beloved grandchildren, Darnell Jr, Brittany, Calon, Adrienne, and Alex. She is also survived by her sister, Rosie Bell.

Her strong spirit, caring nature, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
