Duane Bernard Lee, beloved son, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on November 26, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Warren Duane Lee and Reva Jean Bernard.
Duane spent the majority of his life in Acton, Alabama, where he pursued his passions as a talented tattoo artist and an avid fisherman. His intricate artwork adorned the bodies of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of experiencing his talent.
One of Duane's favorite places in the world was Lake Cumberland, where he found solace and joy in casting his line and embracing the beauty of nature. It was there that he felt truly at peace.
Duane will be deeply missed by his loving daughter, Elizabeth Lee-Riff, as well as his granddaughters, Shania Lee and Serenity Riff, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his sisters Kathy Bernard, Diana Shepherd, Debra Faircloth, Valora Lee, Jaelithe Lee, and Azure Bunner, who will cherish the memories they shared with their dear brother.
In honoring Duane's memory, his family requests that instead of sending flowers, donations be made to a local wildlife conservation organization, as he had great respect for the natural world.
Duane Bernard Lee will forever be remembered for his artistic talents, his love for fishing, and his unwavering devotion to his family. May his soul find eternal peace.
