Alvin H Kately, affectionately known as Dirty Al, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on August 8, 1955, in Lake Charles, LA, and most recently resided in San Francisco, CA. Alvin had a zest for life, a love for food, and a passion for football.
Alvin had a successful career as both a football player and a head chef. He was admired for his dedication and persistence, always giving his best on and off the field. Alvin's favorite quote, "Hush up chump," reflected his strong-willed nature and determination to overcome any obstacle.
One of Alvin's proudest accomplishments was being a father. He cherished his two sons, Robert Shan and Marquis, and loved them unconditionally. Alvin shared a special bond with his spouse, Cheekie, who stood by his side throughout their journey together.
In addition to his immediate family, Alvin is survived by his parents, Wanda and Brenda, his sisters Marilyn and Mark, and numerous extended family members. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
When he wasn't on the football field or in the kitchen, Alvin enjoyed watching his favorite TV show, Last Dragon. He also had a passion for food, with turkey, shrimp, chicken, and veggies being among his favorite dishes.
Alvin's presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
